It was big news in major news papers about huge number of "Bride Dumping" as per NCW statement. MOIA Minister was celeberating the story in a meeting conducted in USA
"Don't marry Indians in America, including Canada [Images],' Vayalar Ravi, India's minister for Overseas Indian Affairs often tells people back home.
Revealing this to the media at the Indian consulate in New York, Ravi explained: "Complaints about non-resident Indians deserting their wives are skyrocketing. In Punjab alone at least 20,000 cases are pending against NRI husbands."Ravi is in the United States with a team of 17 Indian members of parliament and two state ministers.
The government of India has enacted laws to prevent marriage fraud, but families still need to be vigilant, he said.
"Women approaching me, crying, to tell me their plight is a common thing. We want to prevent men using marriage to cheat poor women and leave them after some time," he said."
But various RTIs revealed that the total complaints over the past several years amounts to only less than 100!!

But if you think, that liberated women, then you are completely wrong. It apparently liberated only MEN. To understand that you have to spare some time to go over the Rape, drug addicts, unemployment, income rate of men and women and teenage pregnancies. In USA each year, almost 750,000 women aged 15–19 become pregnant. Overall, 71.5 pregnancies per 1,000 women aged 15–19 occurred in 2006; MTV comes forward to make it more "interesting". Along with the family the concept of parents also got destroyed. Single parented kids are more prone to become drug addicts and early pregnancy. The usage "single parented" in my opinion is totally wrong; apparently it is multi parented! Every weekend the kid will have a new parent!
