For all those ladies who are envious of the superstar Preity Zinta’s dimples, news has it that Preity is undergoing trouble because of the same famous dimples. The actress if facing trouble in finding a child artist to play her ealier part in Jahnu Barua’s ‘Har Pal’.
The stunning actress who has made her presence felt in the Bollywood circuit with some marked performances says that the team needs a girl who not only resembles her but has dimples on both sides of the cheek. Two Dimples on either side of her cheeks, a gift from the heaven above to Preity is causing some worry for many these days.
Numerous cute looking girls auditioned for the part but they just had one dimple and the producers are today hunting deserpately for a miniature Preity with not only one but two holes in her cheek. Finding similar looking child artists is a huge task and a challenge as well for the makers of the movies. A Preity Zinta lookalike may be difficult in itself keep aside a child artist who looks a lot like her and can act as well.
Meanwhile the producers seem to have an option in ‘Black’s’ Ayesha Kapoor, who crafted a stunning performance for Sanjay Leela Bansali’s ‘Black’. The world of filmmakers struggling for child artists can be jealous of the great master Sanjay Leela. He seems to have been lucky with child artists, whether it is Ayesha with her strong perfected role in Black or the girl who played miniature Manisha Koirala in his musical ‘Khamoshi’.
Though Ayesha Kapoor is one of their options, the actress Preity feels differntly about her playing Preity’s earlier days. In praises of Ayesha the official bubbly of Bollywood said,
My God what a powerhouse performer! She played the blind girl so convincingly. I’ve worked with the blind and I’ve seen them move their cornea exactly like Ayesha. But Ayesha’s image after ‘lack is too strong. What do we do? .
With the momentum of the hunt still on, one can only hope that there is not much of a delay in finding a child artist. Preity could be cursing gods own gift, her dimples, but she would be equally excited to see someone match her looks in some sort of way. Fans of the superstar across the globe will be awaiting Preity’s next and definately strong admirers will be looking heaven upwards in prayer for a suitable child artist.
