The cute love story depicting the beautiful feeling of love in a wonderful way was enacted by Shahrukh Khan and Kajol in 1995. A strong script and melodious songs were strong pillars to make the film a big hit.

DDLJ broke the nonstop-display record set up by the classic, Ramesh Sippy’s sholay that ran for five years from 1975-80 at Minerva Theatre. However, DDLJ stays put the longest running film in the history of Indian cinema.
