Cutest geeky makeovers of Bollywood actors

Bollywood always has actors who love to get into the skin of the characters. The industry has also witnessed the triumph of the geeks, in contrast to the suave and sexy heroes. These cute geeks usually take five minutes to make you forget the actor and start loving the character. This makes the character even more loveable or maybe loath-able. Here is a list of some of the cutest geeky makeovers of B-town actors.

Akshay Kumar in Action replay

Akshay has always been the macho man, but a geeky Agastya in ‘Jaan-e-Man’ took everyone by surprise. The curly hair and huge spectacles topped with braces made him the perfect nerd. The actor again turned total geeky for ‘Action Replay’. The toothy simpleton had a timid personality and was bullied by all. He even perfected in his totally henpecked look as well.

Hrithik Roshan in Koi mil gaya

Hrithik Roshan played a mentally challenged man in ‘Koi Mil Gaya’. The character was of a disabled man, extremely real and everyone who watched sympathized with the character. From wearing a school uniform to getting bullied, ‘Rohit’ was a very real character. Rumored to be inspired from Tom Hanks character from Forest Gump, it hardly resembled.

Shah Rukh Khan in Rab ne bana di jodi

The Badshah of Bollywood is known for his risk taking ability and it is this streak that made him play the simpleton in ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’. The actor shed all his style to make Surinder Suri look natural. The well-combed hair, the high-waist trousers, spectacles, mustache and running shoes to compliment, made him look every bit of the character. Even in the latest movie ‘Ra-One’, SRK wears a spotless white slack shirt and a befitting Veshti to complete his Tamilian geeky looks. The twangy curls, red-framed glasses and the sleek pair of slippers, made Shekhar Subramaniam really interesting.

Ranvijay Singh in Mod

The rock-biker-stud, the daredevil made his entry into the industry, playing the second fiddle in movies like Action Replayy, Toss: A Flip of Destiny, and London Dreams. Unlike his image, he always did something different and his character of a sweet and geeky boy in Nagesh Kukunoor’s Mod was very real. The character Andy is a sensitive, quirky, loud, intense, and a very romantic person. The character has a lot of shades and Ranvijay did extremely well for a starter.

Ranbir Kapoor in Rockstar

Ranbir seems to be always ready to make news and leave his fans astonished. When Rockstar arrived, everyone was talking about Ranbir’s look that was a cross between Che Guevara and a pirate. However, what most people missed out was his nerdy look. The child-like man was seen wearing a bright orange shirt and too-tight jeans with a sleeveless sweater and a guitar. The slightly awkward, slightly geeky and slightly shy Ranbir was really to die for.

Ritesh Deshmukh in F.A.L.T.U

In the movie F.A.L.T.U, Ritesh Deshmukh played the nerd quite well. He plays the character of Baaji Rao who is a struggler looking for acceptance. The nursery teacher who becomes the principal of the college earned him applaud and appreciation. Baaji Rao was made real by adding the geeky glasses and a creative streak.

John Abrahamin in Jhoota hi Sahi

John Abraham is best known in the industry for flexing his muscles onscreen. However, he definitely does not want to be an eye-candy forever. And he proved every critic wrong with his geeky avatar in ‘Jhootha Hi Sahi’. In the movie, he plays Sid, a charming guy-next-door. The long-sleeved shirts and nerdy glasses simply brings down his muscles and adds a shy demeanor. The addition of stammer, makes this character even more lovable.
