27th April 1978 is counted as a black day in history of Afghanistan, it was the day when the first President of Afghanistan Sardar Mohammad Daud Khan with his family and cabinet members were killed in Presidential palace by a well arranged military coup led by Noor Mohammad Taraki the Head of People’s Democratic Party. . The aim of Revolutionists were to arrest Daud Khan alive, but he did resist until end and killed. The manfestio of People’s Democratic Party was to implement socialistic ideas of marxism in Afghanistan; Infact, they didnt have a good study of Afghan society, therefore they failed to led the country in a proper way. The governments established after 27th April 1978 were Pro – Soviet Union (USSR) and based on communisim ideologies. They didnt consider the socity, Religion and customes of Afghan people. Millions of innocent peopel were killed during the governemnts established after 28th April 1978, that still Afghan peopel suffer. The Mujideen fought against the pro – communisim based regium, they gained power in 28th April 1992 and couldnt control the country and led the country towards a bloody civil war, which again millions of peopel were killed, injured and displaced to neighbour and foreign countires. It is consider that Afghanistan was battle ground between super powers of the time and peopel of Afghanistan sacrifised of cold war between USSR and USA. In fact, Afghan people gained nothing but lost everthing from 1978 until 2001. During this period we witnessed the violation of human rights, plenty of peopel were tortured violently during the pro- Communisim based govrnements and, consequntly, by Mujideen governement and finally by Taliban governement.
