Abhishek Bachchan
The first place in this list naturally has to go to Abhishek Bachchan, son of critically acclaimed stars Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan, and husband of internationally acclaimed actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Being surrounded by super stars doesn’t seem to work any wonders on Abhishek whose filmi career is not going great guns, thanks to the string of flops he continues to deliver without fail every year. To say that he has failed to fill his super star father’s shoes would be an understatement.
Sonam Kapoor
She may be Bollywood’s very own fashionista, but that’s about as far as Sonam Kapoor’s career is taking her these days. Daughter of veteran actor Anil Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor was launched amidst much fanfare in a Sanjay Leela Bhansali movie, a dream debut for any aspiring starlet. However, Sonam’s acting prowess left much to be desired, and she continues to remain in the shadows of her two time national award winning father’s super stardom.
Uday Chopra
It was the dream debut for every actor, a Yash Chopra movie starring none other than Shah Rukh Khan, along with superstars like Amitabh Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Mohabbatein may have attained a cult status. However, it did nothing for its newbies, including actor Uday Chopra who is the son of late Yash Chopra. With his solo projects sinking without a trace at the box office as well as his multi starrer projects not making headlines, here is one star kid who appears to have not found any footing whatsoever in the industry.
Tushar Kapoor
Son of veteran actor Jeetendra, Tushar Kapoor’s first movie was a super hit. However, he followed it with several flops that ultimately led him to opt for multi starrers instead of single lead projects. The only noteworthy performance he has dished out till date is that of the mute friend in the Golmaal series.
Esha Deol
Daughter of veteran actors Dharmendra and Hema Malini, Esha Deol was expected to inherit the acting genes from both her super star parents. However, that does not seem to have happened, and the actress could not manage to gain a foothold in the industry. Even her mother’s attempt to re-launch her did not work and Esha had to resort getting married and giving up acting for good.
